Florin

One finance stack. Platform, cards and pocket.

The problem
Finance lives in five places

The money is in the banking portal, the spend is on someone's personal card, the approvals are in Slack, and the truth is in a spreadsheet that's already out of date.

Finance teams don't need another dashboard. They need one place that reaches everywhere the money does — desk, phone, card, and the tools around them.

The approach

I designed Florin as one product across four surfaces. The platform for the full picture, the app for approving on the move, physical and virtual cards for spend at source, and integrations so the ledger stays true without anyone re-keying it.

The through-line was a single system — same money, same controls, same audit trail — whether you're at a desk in Berlin or approving a wire from a taxi.

The outcome

A finance stack that fits how a team actually works, not how a bank's IT department drew it. Controls follow the money onto the card and into the app; the books reconcile themselves through the integrations.

On a fictional pilot, six banking logins and three tools collapsed into one, and month-end went from days to hours.

Controls on every card

The limit, the categories and the freeze switch aren't a separate admin tool. They're the same policy engine that governs a wire.
